Our show this week falls on Canada Day and just days after that comes Independence Day here in the States. In celebration, we’ll bring you 90 minutes of music celebrating both Canada and America, including tracks by Broken Social Scene, Classified, Constantines, The Fight, Inlet Sound, Jason Collett, Kalle Mattson, Lake Holiday, Leif Vollebekk, A Northern Chorus, Sam Roberts (and even Sam Roberts Band), Sebastien Grainger, Stompin’ Tom Connors, The Sweet Homewreckers, Treelines, The Wheat Pool, and Wildlife.

We’ll also continue our countdown featuring the Top 100 Neil Young songs of all time, as judged by Rolling Stone. This week, we feature “On the Beach” from Neil’s 1974 album of the same name. Plus, we’ll have details on the Canadians coming to the newly-announced Sound on Sound festival, as well as a roundup of all the other Canadian artists coming through town in July.

Join Justin the Canuck for your weekly fix of 100% independent Canadian music, broadcasting live at 4:30 PM Central on 91.7 FM in Austin and streaming online, worldwide, at KOOP.org!
