LIGHTS (her legal name since age 18) was born Valerie Anne Poxleitner in Timmins, ON. Now based in Mission, BC, her electro-pop earned her a Juno Award in 2009 for New Artist of the Year. Her latest album, Little Machines, was released late last year.
